Tribute to Scott Morris, 1974 - 2026

Scott, we may have not been in touch for a long time but I was glad to see that you'd lost none of the trademark charm and wit that uniquely made you, you. You would have been impressed by the sheer turnout to see you off. At the same time I'm sure you would have wanted to admonish people for making an unnecessary fuss. I think you may have underestimated your impact in the world and on the people around you. Rest easy, sir. C.

Dear Daniel I know from losing my own father that it is a heartbreak that words simply cannot describe. There is a sadness that sits so deeply in your heart, and no matter how much time passes, you never stop missing them. My heart aches for you all as a family to Kate and to Scott’s mum, brother and family . You will all need one another at this time very much. Time is a healer but loss is hard. 😢 For Daniel, the loss of losing a dad is a loss he will carry throughout his life, and I hope the memories, love and special moments they shared will always bring him comfort .🙏🩷 Kate as for you who shared such a significant part of your life must bring so many different emotions. As one of your closest friends I will always be with you to help support and give you the biggest hug ever whenever you need me. Please be gentle with yourself all ans a family and allow yourselves time to grieve in whatever way you need to. I hope you both find strength in each other and comfort in the memories you hold close. The people we love may leave this world, but the love we have for them never leaves us.
